Went out doing a night round island with a few roadies, it had been a while since I had this really good feeling being on the road.
What do you have in there Giant?
So, what is it going to be? We know its going to be a new or revised TCR series carbon bike frame. It will be coming in this summer, it looks like an ISP with internal cable routing on their carbon frame. If it is the case, it will be their very first internal cabling carbon frame set. That would certainly be a nice additional to the TCR advanced series (AND it would make my TCR Advanced look old as well).
My Sram Force crank larger chainring had been running down a bit after almost 5000Km of paddling, and it needs to be replaced. As some of my friend who knows me a little bit longer would remember I used to run my bike on the Sram Red crank, so it wasn’t hard for me to tell the red chainring does provides a stiffer and harder paddling environment then the Force counterpart. So it was logical for me to get the Red chainring to work on my Force crank arm.
Now, I have a Red-on-the-Force.
Its polling day in Singapore, but its also a day off for the roadies to jump onto their saddles. As I am no Singaporean, the polling thing does not really worry me a lot, so its rather keeping up with the cadence for me.
The ride started off in very good manner, riding along with the speed of 25 to 28Km/h for the warm up. But once we hit the coastal road, other riders had geared up to 42 to 44Km/h. I could only keep up with them for a minute or two before I had to drop back to enjoy the early morning a little.
