I had always been a big fan of Google map and Garmin’s GPS device, and they kind of married nicely at the Garmin Connect. Just a little over a year ago, Garmin decided to change the map provider from Google to Bing. I was not so happy about it at that time, coz Bing just doesn’t have the touch.

In the last couple of days, Garmin had added (back) the Google Map as an option aside to the Bing Map. Not sure why they took the Google Map off on the first place, and surely don’t understand why they are adding it back. Maybe Garmin had received a lot of request/complain on it.

Anyway, I am glad that Garmin is bringing the Google Map back to me (if not us)!
